Sausage Pinwheels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hot sausage
2 c. plain flour
1/4 c. shortening
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in shortening and add milk.
Turn dough onto floured surface.
Roll dough into 18 x 12-inch rectangle.
Spread sausage over dough.
Roll dough into jelly roll.
Cover.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
Slice dough into 1/4-inch slices.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
