Joe'S Camp Coffee (Liqueur)Waterford, Michigan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2/3 c. instant coffee
    Coffee beans - 10 whole (optional)
    1/5 Vodka
    1 (2-3 inches) Vanilla bean
Preparation
    Combine water, sugar and coffee in a pan and bring to a full boil.
    Skim the top and cool.
    Pour into a container.
    Add vodka, coffee beans and vanilla beans.
    Store in a cool dark place for 3 weeks. Strain.
    Ready to serve.
    Pour into a 1 qt. mason jar and drink from jar.
