Anisette Biscotti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. anise *
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour and baking powder.
    Mix eggs, milk, anise and vanilla.
    In a large bowl, mix all ingredients.
    Make three loaves and place on greased cookie sheet or large baking pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes.
    Cut loaves in 1-inch slices and return to oven for toasting, about 10 minutes.
