Ever-So-Easy Fruitcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 (28 oz.) jar None Such ready to use mincemeat
1 c. pecan or walnut pieces
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened milk (not evaporated milk)
2 c. (1 lb.) mixed candied fruit (Queen Anne fruit mix)
Preparation

Preheat
oven
to 300\u00b0.
Grease a 9-inch tube pan, line with wax paper and grease again (or use generously greased and floured 10-inch
fluted
tube
pan).
Sift together flour and baking soda, set aside.
In large bowl mix remaining ingredients;
blend in
dry
ingredients.
Pour
into
prepared pan. Bake 1
hour
and 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes
out clean.
Cool
15 minutes.
Turn out of pan, remove wax paper. Garnish, if desired.
