Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk, scald
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    4 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cool water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in
    1/4
    cup
    lukewarm
    water to which 1 teaspoon sugar is
    added.
    Scald
    milk
    and add 1/2 cup sugar, salt and shortening, cool; beat egg and add.
    Add 2 cups flour and yeast mixture.
    Add
    remaining
    flour
    and water and beat. Place in bowl
    and
    cover.
    Refrigerate or can be used immediately. Will keep in
    refrigerator 1 to 2 weeks.
    Roll and cut out rolls, let rise 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Bake at 375\u00b0.
