Aunt Nannie'S Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon, diced
    1 small onion, diced
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
    2 c. chicken stock
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen corn
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 c. milk
    1 to 2 c. cooked, cubed chicken or turkey
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute bacon in Dutch oven.
    Add onions and cook until transparent.
    Add chicken broth or stock, potatoes, salt and pepper.
    Put cornstarch in small container and add 1 cup milk. Stir until smooth.
    Add to soup mixture and add 2 more cups of milk.
    Bring to boil, stir and add chicken.
    Cook 5 to 10 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    Serve with green salad and hot rolls.
