Cornflake Macaroons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. coconut, shredded
3 c. cornflakes
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy.
Stir in cream of tartar and vanilla.
Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff and glossy.
Fold in pecans, coconut and cereal.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto well-greased baking sheets.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove immediately from baking sheet.
Cool on wire racks.
