Silvia'S Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. butter or margarine (room temperature)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
4 eggs
2 1/3 c. cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
powdered sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 12-cup Bundt pan or decorative cake mold.
In a large bowl, beat butter or margarine and sugar until creamy.
Add vanilla and eggs; beat until blended. Blend in cake flour and baking powder gradually.
Stir into sugar mixture alternately with milk.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Smooth top.
Bake 55 to 60 minutes.
Cool in pan on wire rack 15 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
Place cooled cake top side down on a platter dusted with powdered sugar.
