Western Omelette - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 eggs
    1 c. diced, cooked ham
    1 small onion, diced
    1 Tbsp. butter
    12 slices bread
Preparation
    Scramble the eggs, adding milk, if desired.
    Add the chopped ham and diced onion; stir well.
    Melt the butter in a 12-inch frying pan over medium heat.
    Pour the egg mixture in the pan and let it cook until the eggs begin to set, about 3 to 5 minutes. Turn the eggs as neatly as you can; allow them to set and cook another 3 minutes.
    Divide into 6 servings.
    Serve on plain bread.
