Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    5 eggs
    2 tsp. pure lemon extract
Preparation
    Sift flour; measure and sift again with baking powder and salt.
    Cream the Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add flour alternately with milk.
    Add extract last.
    Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
