Grandma'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    diced potatoes
    diced onion
    salt
    water
    1 c. macaroni
    1 to 2 cans undiluted evaporated milk
    2 to 3 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Put diced potatoes and diced onion in kettle of water which 1/2 teaspoon of salt has been added.
    When mixture starts boiling, add the macaroni.
    Stir well when adding.
    Boil until potatoes, onion and macaroni are done.
    Drain water off.
    Add the evaporated milk and margarine.
    Just heat until warm.
    Don't boil.
    This has been passed on for at least 5 generations, starting with Grandma Barnett.
    We all love it.
