Hot Lettuce Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 strips bacon
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 slightly beaten eggs
Preparation
    Cut
    bacon
    in
    small
    size pieces and fry until crisp. Remove bacon
    from
    fat.
    Mix
    sugar, vinegar, water and salt together. Mix
    into
    the
    slightly beaten egg, then stir into the bacon
    fat until it thickens.
    Pour over lettuce which has been
    broken
    in small pieces; add bacon pieces on top of it. Toss all together.
