Parmesan Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Gold Medal flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 c. shortening (half butter)
    2 to 3 lb. frying chicken, cut into pieces
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Mix flour, salt, pepper and paprika in a paper bag.
    Put shortening in oblong 13 x 9 1/2 x 2-inch pan and set in oven to melt. Shake 3 or 4 pieces of chicken at a time in bag. Coat thoroughly.
    Place chicken, skin side down, in hot shortening.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
