Chicken With Sweet Sour Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken
    cornstarch
    1 egg, beaten
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. white vinegar
    1/4 c. chicken stock (broth)
    3 to 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Skin chicken.
    Season chicken with garlic salt.
    Let stand 2 hours.
    Dredge chicken in cornstarch.
    Dip in beaten egg.
    Chill for 1/2 hour so coating will adhere.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Simmer to brown.
    Pour sauce over chicken.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
