Christmas Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2/3 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    4 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter together.
    Blend in orange juice, corn syrup and molasses.
    Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture; mix well.
    Chill 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
    Roll dough, a portion at a time, on lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut into desired shapes.
    Place 2-inches apart on baking sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 14 to 15 minutes.
    Cookies will be soft and chewy if baked 12 minutes or crunchy if baked longer. Makes 6 to 7 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
