Soft Chipper Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. margarine, softened
    1 (12 oz.) chocolate bits
    1/2 c. walnuts (optional)
    2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. buttermilk (I use powdered buttermilk)
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Blend margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Stir in half of the flour mixture. Add buttermilk and remaining flour mixture. Add chips and nuts, if desired.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on rack.
