Chile Verde - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium size round steak
1 small onion
1 fresh tomato
1 small can Ortega diced chiles (blue label) or El Paso
1 medium can whole tomatoes
1 bunch cilantro (an herb that looks like parsley)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. Wesson oil
Preparation

Cut steak into small cubes; brown in oil.
Add chopped onion and fresh tomato.
Blend chiles, whole tomatoes and cilantro (chopped in blender).
Add to meat.
Add seasonings.
Cook for 1 1/2 hours on top of stove.
Add flour and water when almost done to thicken.
Add more water if texture is too gooey.
Serves 4 to 6.
