Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    50 caramels
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    2 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. melted oleo
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Melt the caramels with 1/2 cup milk.
    Set aside.
    Mix together remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips and nuts.
    Put 3/4 of the mix into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Pour caramels on top.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top. Crumble rest of crumb mix over top.
    Bake again for 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
