Meatless Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 Tbsp. olive or cooking oil
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
Preparation
    Saute vegetables in oil.
    Stir in tomato sauce, water and seasonings; simmer 1 hour.
    Toss with 8 ounces (dry weight) spaghetti.
    Serves 6.
