Canned Dill Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. vinegar
5 c. water
1/2 c. salt
2 Tbsp. dill seed
red pepper to taste (about 1 Tbsp.)
1 gal. green beans (not broken)
Preparation

Lay green beans flat in a big pot; cover with water and cook 30 minutes.
Drain and cool.
Mix remaining ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
Pack green beans in pint jars, standing beans on end.
Place 1 garlic bud in each jar.
Cover beans with boiling liquid mixture.
Seal.
