Never Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 c. boiling water
    2 or 3 egg whites
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Add cornstarch to cold water and mix.
    Add boiling water and stir until thick and clear.
    (May have to thicken on stove.)
    Let cool.
    Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Gradually add the sugar and beat until stiff.
    Add cornstarch mixture and mix well until stiff.
    Beat in the vanilla.
    Spread on top of pie.
    Bake for 10 minutes or until brown in 350\u00b0 oven.
