Cream Of Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe

1 qt. home frozen asparagus cuts
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. dried tarragon leaves, crushed
1/8 tsp. ground pepper
1 c. milk
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 Tbsp. instant chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp. salt (if desired)
2 c. half and half
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine asparagus, onion and water in 2-quart saucepan.
Cover and cook over medium heat about 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring once. Cool mixture slightly.
Process asparagus mixture in blender or food processor until smooth.
Set aside.
