Angels On Horseback - cooking recipe

1 pt. shucked Maryland select oysters
11 to 12 slices bacon
Preparation

Drain oysters. Cut bacon slices in half and fry until partially cooked.
Wrap 1/2 slice bacon around each oyster and secure with a toothpick.
Broil, about 4 inches from source of heat, until edges of oysters begin to curl and bacon is cooked. Makes 22 to 24 angels.
