Grandma'S Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. thin sliced cucumbers
1 medium onion, sliced thin
salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation

Combine cucumbers and onion.
Salt to taste.
Let sit 24 hours.
Rinse and drain.
Pack into jars or plastic containers. Heat sugar and vinegar until sugar is dissolved.
Pour over cucumbers.
Let cool and place in freezer.
Thaw before serving.
