Italian Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    oil (for bottom of pan)
    3 cloves garlic
    1 medium onion
    sausages
    3 cans tomatoes
    3 cans water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    3 cans tomato paste
    1/2 can water
Preparation
    Brown garlic, onion and sausages in oil.
    Add tomatoes, 3 cans water, salt, pepper and sugar.
    Boil for 30 minutes, then add tomato paste and 1/2 can water.
    Simmer for 4 hours.
