Huckleberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 c. huckleberries
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Mix sugar, eggs, milk and shortening together.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add to mix and mix thoroughly.
Fold in berries gently so as not to crush.
Pour into prepared (either greased or sprayed) loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 until toothpick comes out clean, about 30 to 45 minutes.
