Split Pea And Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 medium chopped onion
    2 c. beef broth
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. split green peas
    2 medium quartered potatoes
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Melt margarine over medium heat.
    Add onions; cook until soft. Stir in beef broth and water and bring to a boil.
    Add peas and potatoes.
    Cover and cook slowly until tender.
    Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes.
