Date And Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) pitted dates
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cut dates in small pieces.
    Fix them first and set aside while mixing other ingredients.
    Mix together thoroughly flour, salt, baking powder, soda, egg, vanilla and nuts.
    Then add date mixture.
    Put in greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake in slow oven at 300\u00b0 for 3/4 to 1 hour.
