Salmon Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pink salmon, drained
    3 Tbsp. flour (if desired)
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 onion (about 3 Tbsp.), chopped (may omit, if desired)
Preparation
    Stir all ingredients with a fork.
    Drop by tablespoon in skillet.
    Use 1 tablespoon shortening or oil in pan to fry on low to medium heat until brown on each side.
