Vidalia Onion Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large Vidalia onion
    1 large tomato
    2 to 3 leaves fresh basil, chopped
    2 tsp. olive oil
    2 tsp. red wine vinegar
    2 oz. Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Thinly slice the onion and tomato.
    On 2 salad plates, alternate slices of onion and tomato. Drizzle with oil and vinegar. Sprinkle with basil, salt and pepper. Top with Parmesan cheese. Serve with warm French bread.
