Homemade Strawberry Banana Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. strawberries, rinsed and hulled
    1 large banana, cut into chunks
    2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened slightly
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mash berries, banana, lemon juice and nutmeg with potato masher to a slightly chunky puree.
    Stir in ice cream until well blended.
    Transfer to freezer container.
    Cover and freeze at least 4 hours until firm.
