Black-Eyed Peas And Ham Hocks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. black-eyed peas
    12 c. water
    3 lb. smoked ham hocks
    1 1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cayenne
    1 bay leaf
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen okra
Preparation
    Bring all ingredients, except okra, to a boil.
    Then simmer until meat is tender (about 1 1/2 hours).
    Add okra 30 minutes before cooking is completed.
    Serve over hot rice.
