Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
    3 eggs, lightly beaten
    unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    1/3 c. corn syrup
    1/3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add sweet potatoes and eggs.
    Mix well.
    Combine with syrup, milk, salt and vanilla.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 35 to 40 minutes longer.
    Cool.
    Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
