Strawberry Glace Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    9-inch baked pie shell
Preparation
    Mash enough strawberries to fill one cup.
    Mix sugar and cornstarch in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Stir in water and mashed strawberries gradually.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
    Boil and stir for 1 minute and then cool.
