Martha'S Carrot Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. raw carrots, finely shredded
    2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, carrots and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoon on baking sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
