Vinegar Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix and cook all until thick and smooth.
    Just before removing from heat, add 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring and small lump of oleo or butter.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Use egg whites for meringue.
