Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef, cut up for stew
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil
    4 small onions
    4 small carrots
    4 small potatoes
    1 c. sliced celery
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 can water
Preparation
    Sprinkle beef with flour mixed with seasonings.
    Toss with oil in a 3-quart casserole.
    Bake, uncovered, at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Stir once.
    Add vegetables, salt and pepper.
    Pour tomato sauce and water over all.
    Cover; bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
