Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 lemons (juice only)
    3 egg whites
    3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Add juice of lemons. Beat egg yolks and add to mixture.
    Slowly add boiling water.
    Cook until thick.
    Add salt.
    Pour in baked pie crust.
    Beat egg whites until they stand in peaks.
    Add 3 tablespoons of sugar and a sprinkle of salt.
    I also add a few drops of vanilla or lemon juice to the meringue.
    Pile on lemon filling in crust.
    Brown in oven. This recipe takes either 1 1/2 or 3 of each ingredient.
