Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 green peppers
    1 lb. hamburger
    2 slices bread, tear into small pieces
    1 onion, sliced
    1 can tomatoes
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Core peppers and keep tops.
    Salt and parboil peppers and tops in salted boiling water 8 to 10 minutes.
    Remove from hot water.
    Fry onion, hamburger and bread until brown.
    Mash up can of tomatoes.
    Pour off juice.
    Mix tomatoes and hamburger (off fire when done, not when cooking).
    Stuff peppers.
    Put in deep casserole.
    Pour tomato juice over stuffed peppers.
    Add water, if necessary.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 1 hour.
