Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. bacon fat
    2 c. tomato juice
    1/2 c. mushroom pieces
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. cooked shrimp
    2 Tbsp. flour
    rice
Preparation
    Brown onion and green pepper in melted fat.
    Add tomato juice, mushrooms and seasonings.
    Cover and simmer for one hour.
    Add shrimp and cook for 30 minutes longer.
    Thicken with paste made from flour and 1/2 cup water.
    Serve over rice.
