Buttermilk Waffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. shortening, melted
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Place egg yolk in bowl; beat well, then add shortening and buttermilk. Add all other ingredients except egg whites. Mix well. Beat egg whites stiff, then fold in. Cook in waffle iron.
