Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream the first 3 ingredients.
    Sift together and stir in last 4.
    Chill dough.
    Roll balls the size of small onions in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in a 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
