White Mountain Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except vanilla in top of double boiler. Place over boiling water.
Beat with rotary beater until stiff peak forms.
Scrape bottom and sides of pan occasionally.
Fold in vanilla.
