Oven Barbecued Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. round steak
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. catsup
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut steak into about 10 equal portions.
    Brown in oil in skillet on both sides.
    Place in roasting pan.
    Saute onion in oil; add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer together for about 5 minutes.
    Pour over steaks.
    Cover and bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 2 hours or until fork-tender.
    Yield:
    5 to 6 medium servings.
