Lemon Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine or butter
2 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 lemon
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cream margarine; add sugar and eggs and beat.
Grate lemon rind and add to the mixture.
Blend in buttermilk alternately with dry ingredients.
Pour into two greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Cool for ten.
Mix 1 cup confectioners sugar and enough juice from lemon to make a glaze.
