Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/3 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
6 Tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. cream or milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix together and spread on top of the cake.
Place the cake in the oven and put on broil until it is browned lightly.
This cake freezes well.
