Creole Meat Loaf(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. cooked rice
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 egg
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. sliced celery
1 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley
Preparation

Put ground beef in a bowl.
Add rice, onion, green pepper, salt, thyme, egg and half of an 8 ounce can of tomato sauce.
Mix thoroughly, then shape into loaf and place in shallow baking dish. Set in preheated oven and bake for 1 hour.
