Thimbles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk
raspberry or strawberry preserves (jam)
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add sugar and egg yolk.
Sift salt and flour together.
Add vanilla.
Dough will be sticky.
Refrigerate for awhile, if necessary.
