Terri'S Knots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    6 tsp. baking powder
    2 1/2 sticks margarine
    2 tsp. anise flavoring
    6 eggs
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
    Mix the margarine and anise into the dry ingredients.
    Add the eggs and mix well.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Take a small piece of dough (about 2 tablespoons) and roll with palm of your hand to form a long pencil shaped string.
    Take an end of the string and make a loose, single knot.
    Break the knot off of the string.
    Space knots about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 10 minutes or until bottom of cookie is light brown.
    Cool.
