Whole Wheat Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. unsifted whole wheat flour
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. molasses
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Place whole wheat flour in a large mixing bowl, then sift all-purpose flour with sugar, baking powder and salt into bowl.
    Toss well into mix.
    Beat egg with milk, oil and molasses until foamy.
    Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
    Pour in liquid all at once and stir lightly and quick to mix.
    Batter should be lumpy.
    Spoon into greased muffin pan.
    Fill each cup 3/4 full.
    Bake 20 to 22 minutes until lightly brown.
    Makes 1 dozen.
